Adhesive can be processed at -10 °C

Adhesive tapes can also be reliably applied even in the case of below freezing temperatures. The development team of 3F has engineered high-performance adhesives, which can be bonded safely even at temperatures of -10 °C (14 °F).
The adhesive is a solvent free polyacrylate which offers high cohesion values and can also perform well in damp environments. It is available for most 3F products.

Adhesive Tape

Adhesive tapes are one-sided or double-sided self-adhesive strips, which may contain different carrier materials depending on the type of tape.
Classic adhesive tape carriers are fabrics, films or paper nonwovens. Various foams, for example polyethylene (PE), are also used as functional adhesive tape carriers. Pressure-sensitive adhesive used without a carrier, are referred to as transfer tapes. They are mostly used for large-area applications. Various single-sided and double-sided adhesive tapes are usually covered with a release liner – a protective cover made of silicone-coated paper or a silicone-coated film.
The application areas of adhesive tapes are very diverse. Areas of application can be, for example, surface protection, packaging, sealing, insulation, assembly, process aid or repair. Depending on the application, the various adhesive tape products differ considerably from each other due to their carrier materials, possibly sub-carriers, pressure-sensitive adhesives and release liners.
