The ArcticTape was developed to perform insulation work on pitched roofs even at very low temperatures. It can be applied at -20 °C (-4 °F) and is temperature resistant down to -30 °C (-22 °F).
The excellent adhesion of the special adhesive is maintained even at sub-zero temperatures, so that a secure connection with the surfaces to be bonded can occur. The flexible carrier film can be used to bond roofing membranes in the overlap area as well as connections in the case of penetrations of pipes or timbers, for example.
ArcticTape is therefore a flexible system adhesive tape with a wide range of applications and is particularly suitable for colder regions due to its ability to bond at very low temperatures. read more
Sealing of overlapping underlay membranes in pitched roof exterior area at very low temperatures. The sealing adhesive tape therefore contributes to the windtightness of the building envelope. The self-developed pressure-sensitive adhesive can already be applied at temperatures of -20 °C (-4 °F), so that work on the pitched roof can also be carried out during very cold periods.
Adhesive tape application already possible at -20 °C (-4 °F); ideal for use in very cool regions.
Complies with the strict requirements for the permanent bonding of airtight layers according to DIN 4108/11
